Maple burl and a resin shaving brush

Here's a couple brushes I made lately. They will be shaving sets with razor and stand shortly!

The wood one is maple burl from Rocky that I stabilized.

The resin is called "molten metal" I kept seeing it and wanted to see a brush made from it. I love the colors on this one.

The knots are synthetic, but not glued in yet.

That burl looks awesome!!!

Did you put a 'finish' on the burl, or is that just the shine you achieved from the stabilizing?

I apply a CA finish just as a precaution since it's in water. Also seal the hole for the knot with CA before epoxy the knot in.
