Just got back from playing guitar and singing at a nursing home
and took a picture of this one I cut out and glued up last night after dinner.
It was going to be an eight layer curved side one but the calculations in my plan went badly wrong after the third ring so I used plan B and made a shallow bowl of it.
It is 10" diameter at the top and three inches deep. One board of maple for the rings and one board of Santos mahogany for the base.
This one has a semi gloss lacquer finish.
I am getting pretty good at concealing the 1/2" hole in the bottom . Wife asked how I made it without the hole. It is there and plugged , just hard to find.
