Very nice. I'm impressed. It's really hard to keep Padauk from bleeding over onto a light colored wood like that. Great Job - Dave
Dave: Only way I have been able to control Paduk bleed to stabilize first, no sanding ,turn with very sharp skew on the shear mode. Work well on pens. On vessels I stabilize and shear cur with gouge. no sanding.

Wish I would have read this before turning my first padauk blank. It looked ugly before sanding. The bleeding onto the sap sucked because I love the contrast between sap and the main wood. The pen looks nice but I knew it bled.
