Just got home from the opening session of the MAPG. It's off to a great start with great attendance, great vendors (not taking my wallet tomorrow), the IAP Collection, and a great thread turning demo. After a slow start, the pen contests started rolling. The competition in the beautiful pen contest is already fierce. The mission impossible contest is still wide open with a limited number of entries.

The Ohio contingent of the IAP is well represented with Jeff Brown, Mark James, Mbroberg and Magicbob in attendance.

Tonight, Mark James gave us an overview of the IAP Collection and had all the awesome pens there to examine!

Neil presented his thread wrapping demo! What an interesting demo! He created a lot of interest and questions....very cool and top notch workmanship!

The vendor room was full of all sorts of pen products and getting to visit with folks was the best!

Now for tomorrow!
