MAPG Hangover

I hope everyone made it home safe, had a great time, etc.

Now we have the MAPG Hangover.

There are a few things I am hoping the MAPG will get going.

I am hoping that the Local Chapters will be able to grow. It really looks like the Richmond Chapter has their ducks in a row, and might be able to help a Hampton Roads Chapter get things together.

I am hoping that once in a while a visitor might make the trip to this or that place. Maybe after a couple local meetings someone from Richmond might be able to make a trip for a demo. Not saying it would not be cool to have them visit our meeting regularly/join our group.

I think we need to find a "venue" to hold our meetings. Nothing against Fred and Tina, I just think it is too much to ask them to host it at their house. The flip side is, having the equipment to do the demo's and things.

What do you all think? Any suggestions?

I think you are right about the venue....Fred and Tine have been great host but it is too much to ask to keep it at their house...Woodcraft in norfolk maybe??

When my son was in the tiger scouts the fathers would rotate having the meeting at thier house...

Depending on the number of people, I could host at my place. A good weather evening and it could be made a cookout too
