Finished Yesterday a large Eye-dropper fountain Pen, made from Ebonite, Ebonite Feed with #8 gold nib.
The pen is lacquered with "Kuro Ishemeji Nuri" Black Stone Surface Urushi Lacquer. The ends lacquered with "Tetsusabi" Iron Lacquer. It's a unique piece

Best regards,

Martin

Martin another fantastic pen. If I am seeing it correctly the surface of the body and cap has a textured finish. If you would not mind explaining how you accomplished the finsh it would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much.
The structured Stone Surface "Ishime-ji" is made by sprinkling black dry lacquer powder in wet black lacquer, then ground. The gold rings and iron ends are made similarly, sprinkling iron respectively gold powder into wet transparent lacquer and ground, polished
