Manu Propria - Metal or Lacquer?

"Kinsoku Mitateai" is the term for the group of Urushi Lacquer who imitate metal surfaces.
On an iron lacqquer ground maple leafs "Momiji" are brushed and sprinkled with powders of gold, silver, tinn, brass and bronze. The surface is polished at the end
