Hi there,

Over the weekend I experimented with a new clip concept. Brass gold plated. The clip sand blasted and partially polished to give it a wear and tear feeling.
The pen polished Ebonite

Even your plain pens look great.
May I ask if the clip is friction fit onto the cap? Inside of the ring taper matching the taper of the cap?

Hi Pete, thank you. The clip and ring is soldered together and taper matching

Beautiful indeed !!! Did you plate the clip yourself ... chemically ?

Yes, I have a plating equipement. Important, for gold plating brass, first a coat of Palladium has to be applied as a bridge. Otherwise the gold is absorbed by the brass within short time
