[:D] Retirement is wonderful. Not a question of when to turn, question is what is next. [:o)] Reed

I think thats what she said, plus she is slowing down[:0][}:)]

Me either, Ed... she's not that old.

And no, Ang, but I have made a nice dent on the reorg. Not nearly done... there's just so much to clean[:0], but I'm making headway.

I built a block storage shelf between the legs of my mustard monster and moved most of my larger pieces there. That gives me room in the garage to work on the placement of table saw #2 which I plan to leave permanently setup with a sled for segmenting. LOML wants me to build some rolling storage for the rest of my wood and it will go where the stuff I moved today was. In the mean time I have to move everyting off my workbench so I can finish her bookshelf.[;)]

Oh my gosh, you go away for a few hours to be productive in the basement and look what happens...[:0][:0] Your character and your looks are besmirched! [B)][V]

And none of your friends even stick up for you? I suppose Billy did say I wasn't that old, but even that can sound bad if you really emphasize the word "that"! [V]

Well just for that, I'm not going to share when I get some! [^][^]

[}:)][}:)]

And BTW Billy, I think maybe you should talk to my dad's married friend who says he "sublimates with wood"!

Given the size of those great big green grins, I'm guessing you just got some!![:D]

And you know what? I did do just that last night, for close to three hours!!!! [:p][:p]

Yep, I dressed in clothes just for the occassion- something I'd never wear out in public and wouldn't be appropriate to wear in public, went downstairs, all ready to play... [:X][:X]

... and turned some pens in my shop, while dressed in shop clothes, which consist of unmatched pieces that I wouldn't go out in public wearing.

Whoaa... good point- I don't think I've seen that color of Randy before!

What can I say, I have that effect on men... get 'em excited then leave them with big grins on, like Randy's faces have![}:)][}:)]

Thanks for the offer, Justin, but I only get a few hours after work to try and accomplish anything these days. At the moment I have the tedious task of sorting through woodworking tools, jigs, etc. and my collection of miniature diecast cars. I'm getting rid of the diecast to make room for my ever growing woodworking "hobby". I should have everything sorted out in a few weeks. The last day of our foster to adopt classes is Feb 3 and I'm hoping things return to normal.

BTW, Justin, would you happen to know of a local charity to give many of these to? I'll need a receipt, but apparently most of them are worth more to me than anyone else. I've been trying to sell them, but...

I know a couple people in the diecast hobby. As far as charities go...I work with a lot of them I'm a caseworker for Montgomery county. However..that being said....the only place that would probably take them would be someplace that works with kids. You could try United Rehabilitation Services in Huber Heights. My wife works there. Their Matchbox cars are kind of dinged up and stuff because they are mostly special needs kids. You could probably donate some of your less treasured stuff to them. Let me know if you want their info.

That's really great that your adopting a foster kid! You may or may not know that I'm part of Jobs and Family Services, so I deal with foster parents quite regularly. If you need any help or have any questions feel free to ask!

Turning? Oh yeah, I remember, that's when I go around the corner on the way to work, right? I am lucky to have a few minutes of free time when I get home with our current routine. No complaints, just will look forward to spring and early summer when the sun is up longer and the kids can go outside after dinner. That is when I get more time in the garage[:D]
