Is this pieces of tooth held together with blue resin ?

Mammoths had poor dental hygiene back then.

I don't know really. Got it from another turner as a "see if you can turn this stuff".

I used alot of thin CA along the way on this one. Sure was some brittle material to work. So brittle in fact I blowed out the 2nd one after 2 1/2 hours of work......

I was gifted that blank as a water testing type of thing. The owner wanted to know if it was a turnable material.

So I do not know the price of a blank.
