There a few who bought a "lathe" from Grizzly, I believe to turn cork grips on a DP. I tried it but opted to spend a few bucks and get a used lathe. It can be done. Pictures?

My results were... Not so good - but it kept me interested enough to revisit the dark arts 25 years late. Have Fun and welcome.
