Hey guys,
I came into a nice stock of Mahogany and also Brazilian Rosewood. I know the Brazilian is all about gone due to the import laws changing back in 1992 or so. I got a huge board. (Around 1 9/32" x 12" x 8 feet long. It is not quarter sawn, rather board cut, but it has tremendous grain figure. The Honduras Mahogny is also huge. Around 4" x 9" x 7 feet long.
I know, no photos... it never happened. I will try to get some tonight. Is anyone interested in some larger pieces of stock? The Mahogany is screaming to make some nice lamps, candle sticks, bowls, etc.
