A great idea for those not yet using it. The super organizer everything-in-its-place might not do that, but it still is a handy solution. I have been doing that as long as you have been a member of IAP. Very helpful for repetitive pen types being made! My Sierra pen bushings STAY there.
 
My bushings stay on/in the project until I dont need them anymore and then they get put back away in the small storage boxes I keep them in.
I guess I dont understand the need to keep them around if you aren't immediately using them.
To each their own!
I find magnets handy for keeping wrenches and such at the lathe but, I've had the same experience as @Woodchipper has.
