to California. We are in Palmdale heading for Big Bear Lake where we rented a cabin. Had a little car incident and it needs body work. Miss my lathe but the new shop will really be a nice one.

Hope your 'incident' didn't include any Sequoia or Redwoods ... if it did be sure to pick up any branches that may have 'accidentially' fallen off.
Have fun and hurry back to the lathe as I am sure he/she/it misses you already.

Palmdale, boy does that bring back memories. Spent the summer of 1971 on the flight line at Lockheed there. One hot place in the summer. Hope no one was injured in the incident.

So did you move to Palmdale? My Sister in-law Lives there and we get down there every now and then. So if that's where you moved to I might look you up the next time I am in town. I am also headed to big bear 6-20 through the 24th, can't wait to do some fishing.
