Saw this suggestion on this site somewhere. Thought I would give it a try. Only problem is trying to get tubes to center up.

I've used old carbon arrow shafts for a variety of things but never thought about this.

Good use of materials.

7 MM tube Fits with a little too much play, so I put a few drops of medium ca on one end then turned it around and around till it dried. Then did the other end the same way , then made it fit snugly into tube and then epoxied the tube inside.
