M9x.75 Taps&Die Set

New and unused.

Includes a HSS plug tap, a HSS bottoming tap and a small (3/4") hex die. Most offerings I see are just the plug (or a taper) tap and die, but I also wanted a bottoming die, so I went ahead and placed an order with Victor Machine. I wanted round dies, but they were out of stock, so I settled for the hex die.

To reduce the cost of my set, I purchased the two additional sets I'm offering here. Cost is $20, delivered in the US via Priority Mail.

Mama always told me I was slower than the other boys.

Someone (thanks, Andrew) pointed out to me that these may actually be rethreading/repair dies, not for creating new threads. I'm not sure if it's a big deal for wood or acrylic, but I'd like to try mine before re-homing theses.

Also, the hex die isn't going to be terribly convenient for on-lathe tapping for most folks. I was just going to turn a holder but I've got a metal lathe and most here probably don't.

I'd like to retract this offer until I get a chance to try mine. If you're okay risking the above, drop me a PM.
