Lychee Dish

This is a little dish I made out of Lychee. It is one of many blanks I got from Kalai some time last year. I finally found some time to get in the shop and mess around with these blanks. They are perfect size. My wife loves them and so does my neighbors, my friends and so on and so on. It is about 2 1/2" in diameter and about an inch or so high. The finish is just a home brew friction polish. Thanks Chris. I love these little blanks!

Beautiful piece Mark. I love the dimensions but have to wonder. You said they're a 'perfect size'. For what? I can't figure what to use a bowl that size for. I can see how good it will look on display though.

They are the perfect size for my wife and my neighbors and my friends mom because they are the ones that love them.
Actually, I have one on my desk at work and home and I keep loose change in them, and they look pretty.
