Not sure where to put this thread, so moderators, feel free to adjust:smile:

I would like to make 10 -15 Lotus Pens and can't seem to find the kit at a retail level. I am prepared to buy a 100 at a time, and although I would certainly pass on a good price to others that are interested, I certainly do not want to put out 4 or 5 thousand dollars without some return.

I wan't to see

1) If there is interest from others.
2) Which platings would be preferred.
3) Are there other products that might be of interest.

I would buy a hundred of one, when those are gone I would move on to the next.

Keep in mind that I am not opening up a business, we have many awesome suppliers on this site. They cannot provide everything we may require, and I do like to buy different things from time to time.

If there is any interest let me know.

Kindest Regards,

Kevin

Please remember that all group buys must be approved by Monty, the group buy coordinator, before proceeding.

Not to worry, at this point it is a fact finding mission only, to see if there is enough interest. Last thing I want is the loml find me hoarding $5000.00 worth of pen kits that I can't get rid of

I will be checking into shipping rates etc to determine if this is feasible. There does seem to be some interest. Monty has already given me some valuable information and advice on how to best proceed with this.

Kindest Regards,

Kevin

I'm home from work now so here are some links. Easier than with the cell.

Lotus Fountain Pen

Bamboo. I think it looks the nicest.
Bamboo pen

He also has other higher end Dayacom Kits that are hard to find.

Pete is this "Bamboo" pen the same pen that CSUSA used to sell as the Imperial? If so, I have made a few and they are awesome. The Lawyers and Bankers love them.

If I can offer one piece of advice - decide which one you want to start with and see if there is interest for that one. Collecting information on 4 when you only want one will be very confusing.

That is the plan. One at a time. then move on to the next. I certainly appreciate the advice.

Thanks

How much per pen?[/QUOTE

If I decide this to be lucrative, I will probably do it in the next month or two depending on how quick I get responses from the supplier. As far as cost goes, I am not looking to get into business, I will definitely be passing on a savings to whom ever buys. As soon as I have determined my cost I will determine a price and let everyone know. And that of course will be as soon as I have deleted this thread deleted and restart another thread under Group Buys as per IAP Forum Rules.

(How did I do Monty:biggrin: Just wanted to let you know I was paying attention.) Thanks for the advice.
