Savannah gave us nearly 18 years of love and loyalty. It is so sad that she had to leave us but she was too good of a family member to see her decline. So... she is gone but will be forever in our fondest family memories.
She was the best, would bark to go in and out, never had potty issues, hardly ever barked except when someone rang the doorbell, was always great with kids and visitors. Sang(howled) with us while singing " Happy Birthdays". Guests would ask to do it again so she could sing again. What a pleasure to have had such a companion for so long.
We will miss you so much Swavvy (my daughters way of saying her name when younger).

Blessings Glenn, and a night filled with memories and tears to be sure. Your loss is felt and prayed for.

Glenn,

Sorry to hear about your loss. 18 years is a very long time for a pet. We lost our Gracie when she was 13. They become so much a part of the family and our lives that it is hard when they go.

Joe

Brother I would love to tell you a story about an incident that happened last week regarding our pet that had to be put to sleep six years ago. All I can say is that we know what you are experiencing and it is not fun. God Bless. Pets may not go to heaven but they are one of God's greatest gifts.

I'm really sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Most of us have a furry best friend so Im sure that we all can understand the pain that you are feeling.

Glenn, like many here, I know how attached we become to our family pets; they love us even though sometimes we don't deserve it. I know you will miss Savannah, may your memories be always happy, meanwhile your sadness is our sadness, Amos:smile:

They truely are family, they love unconditionally.
Our little girl is a rescue puppy from a shelter, she is 13 yrs old but we have only had her for a little more than a year.
Sorry for your loss

Harry

Good Friends

Good friends leave paw prints in our hearts. Seth and Chum and Chippy will always be with me and Savannah will always be with you.

As Will Rogers once said "If dogs don't go to heaven I think when I die I want to go where they went."

And as I say "If their ain't no dogs, it ain't heaven."

Recently lost my beloved poodle Arnold. Now Have Butler, a schnaun

Glenn, I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of any ones pet, Somehow these furry critters become such a major part of our family, and it's unfortunate their lifespan is no where near as long as ours.

I'm very sorry for your lose, but you had 18 good years(priceless).I lost my dog two days before X-mas(hit by a car),and it was a really hard holidays.Again very sorry for your lose sir, take care,Victor

I know you and your family's feelings and am sorry for your loss. A while back we had to put our Countess (Beagle) down after 18 years and there were allot of wet tissues in our house when that happened. If you do get another dog wait a while as then you will not be getting one to replace your dog as that cannot happen. Each one has its own personality.
