I am looking for a older tool called a Ring Master lathe for turning bowls from a board. Does anyone have one they are looking to sell? Would pay shipping too.

John......good little machine that does a great job. I've owned two of them but sorry to say I sold them many years ago. There's a woodturning site called "Woodturning Tool Exchange". Go onto this link below and open search and type in "Ring Master". You may have to join group first. https://www.facebook.com/groups/461526680666003 Many Ring Masters come up for sale here and you'll see all the various ones that have been sold. Good site to keep check on or perhaps even putting in a "Wanted" ad. There around and can be found so be patient. Recently I just purchased the out of production Beall Pen Wizard. Took me 3 months of persistant looking, but the other week I finally found one through Marketplace. Oh, by the way....not sure if your aware, but these come in Stand Alone as you pictured and were also sold to mount on a wood lathe if you own one. Getting the wood lathe model does the same thing just at half the cost of the unit. Good Luck

There are some available of ebay if nothing else pops up. You can do this on the lathe without this tool as well with some angle blocks and a parting tool.

yea there are various ways to do that type turning. This photo was from a guy who sold his on FB for around $300 plus was willing to ship. It was almost brand new. Tools like this are a whim buying thing and many people just fade away from them. So I will keep an eye open. There were several people here that use to use these machines quite abit. when they first came out. I found my Brynes tablesaw and drum sander just like this putting a want ad on a few woodworking forums and wound up with a great deal with practically brand new tools. Never know. I am in no hurry.
