I am looking for a couple of sources in the Cen Fl area to buy wood both natives and exotic and am also looking for some help with some native trees to look for at the local mulching plant that would give me some nice figured lumber. I'm new to pen turning and picking wood and looking for all the coaching I can get. Also looking for a saw mill to go scrounge around as well.

I knew several sawyers who were local but two of them quit sawing. :-(

Not sure you would consider this central FLA but it's Bradenton, nice selection of blanks, spindles and "stuff" - not good enough for spindles but I've used for pens, stoppers etc.
