All,

In need of some larger gears and such for casting. I picked up some on Etsy thinking they would be what I was looking for...and all the pieces are minute. Plenty of gears and cogs and such...just so small, not going to make an impact on the pen I am wanting to make. Kit will be a Jr. Gent II size. It is for a retirement gift for a MSgt of the USAF after 24 years of excellent and committed service, so any help is much apprecaite. Willing to cover the costs of the pieces and shipping, just don't want tiny pieces. Like I said any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How large do you need the gears to be. Send me a PM and I might be able to help. As for old faces, they are usually ceramic coated on old pocket watches and won't bend.

Saw some on ebay not to long ago. They included pocket watch faces and gears.

You might want to check out this site for pocket watch movements... Partial Movements List

FYI, a "6s" size will be a watch that is about 1" in diameter, a "14s" will be about 1.5" in diameter and an "18s" will be close to 2" in diameter.
