looking for jr gent assembly pics

Does anyone have a pic handy of a jr gent in progres pic showing the long tube with [the nib coupler and trim ring] on one end and the [end cap coupler and trim ring ] on the other end installed?

I know I messed one up but I got it to work and when closed, no one can tell :biggrin: but after I was done with it, the trim rings have alot of play.

I really like the look and that they are not very flashy with engravings, etc. I definitely have a new favorite pen style.

Also, any idea if they come in black, black titanium, or gun metal? Most of my google searches come back with the jr gent II

Is it possible they're not pressed in all the way?

The trim rings will have play until the end couplers are seated completely.

I pressed it hard enough that my clamp started to really flex so thought I might break something if I clamped harder. I can try it again.

I had a similar issue turned out I had glue inside the tube and it was preventing me from fully seating the transmission.

Rick is most likely correct. You might want to consider knocking it apart and checking for glue.
