I've heard it said that Santa is a cheapskate and even worse things, but I reckon he is a PRETTY AWESOME BLOKE.
Mind you there was a bit of a Trade-off in favour of SWMBO. I love her just the same.
It's a Jet JPS-10-TS, and even though I haven't used it yet, I like it very much. My poor Triton saw bench will go to the Local Men's Shed if they want it.
Looks like a good Christmas.

It is funny you posted this today, I have been looking at maybe buying that exact saw, to replace a craftsman portable.
I am also looking at a Laguna, and a Saw Stop, but the saw stop seems a bit out of my reach......

The SawStop is a little expensive, but how expensive are new fingers!
I am always careful when I use mine, but it is a comfort to know the protection it provides. My wife never hesitated when I said I wanted one.

Great buy (self Christmas present), it looks very sturdy and of quality, lets hope the machine performs as expected...!
