long drill bits?

Looking for a source for longer drill bits for drilling more than 4". I know how to adjust to do that with my present standard bits but I was hoping to find a longer bit so that would not be necessary. Any suggestions?

Try Mcmaster Carr, they have them up to 8 or 12" long.
