I've wanted to see what the fuss was about so I ordered some Narex chisels that come without the handles. I made these out of maple.
Squared the stock. Used a hand plane to form the 8 sides and then finished them on the lathe.
I have to say I love them. Of the 50 or so chisels in my shop, these are my favorites.
