Local man wins GOLD!

Eatonton resident Vince Hancock, the reigning 2008 Olympic Skeet Shooting Gold Medalist, repeated his performance today and won the Gold Medal at the 2012 London Olympics.

Way to go, Vince! We are proud of you just because of the positive role model that you are to our youth! But another Gold in a second Olympic Games! That deserves a new pen!

I watched that performance on tv. It was very impressive.

That's a good thing. I like the sports where it is the individual competing. I'm not big on team sports in the Olympics but I do like the individual events that make some of them up. I really don't care much for sports where the judging is subjective. Like figure skating, gymnastics, boxing etc.
