I attempted to practice some restraint with wood blanks for my vendor table this year. And I really tried!!!!! Honest! Ended up with 10 species of burl, and 29 other species and variations of figure. So a selection of 39 for everyone to choose from. Is that really less than last year? Maybe?

Know the feeling, Rich!!

We are limited to the "full size" Camry---last year we had a "wagon".

I'm thinking I should have bought the new car BEFORE the event!! Mostly loaded, should get out fairly early--look for us early afternoon. Only one lathe would fit.

There will be a Jet 16-42 lathe there as well. 1 1/4-8 standard thread, they have an adapter for 1"-8.

Just got home from work but have a few things going on tomorrow so I guess I'll see you all Saturday morning. Rich I'm excited to restock with some of your blanks so I feel sorry for anyone who gets there after me, And Dawn I really hope Ed brings you this year. :)

Jeff: MagicBob and I are rooming at the Red Roof Inn (close to where you were last yr), and Bob Jackson and Jason are at the Best Western. So the van will be at the Red Roof Inn. Only 5 miles apart, so pretty close.

Hitting the road in about 10 minutes. I should be there around 12:00 local time. I also have plenty of cash for blanks and a bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon. See everyone there!!
 
Ya'll have a Great Time and be Safe. I'm here at work and don't plan on leaving until this afternoon. Then it will be to the house to get ready for Monday to head back to work. It's really not that bad but I'd rather be meeting up with you.
 
Rolling in tonight

The trio from Cedar Rapids, Iowa will be getting in to the Best Western some time between 7 and 8 if we have no snags on the way. Hope I brought enough money to pay for all I want...
 
Too bad we couldn't make it this year... Thursday was daughter's birthday, youngest granddaughter had her 14th just a week ago (they live in Mohammet) and tomorrow is oldest son's birthday here in TN. Other daughter lives in Urbana. The wife was born in Urbana. Maybe next year.
