This is some of what I was given. Nuked it to help dry it out. Turned out pretty nice IMHO. Hopefuly I can get more to trade.......Comments welcome. Need a better camera though.

That is truly a great pen. live oak grows like weeds back home and never thought of turning it. have to re-think that now.:biggrin:

I really like the grains and colors. Nice job on the pen. I did a white oak burl recently that revealed a lot more on the inside than the outside.
