I'm stuck, help! I need to order a set of the little triangles you use under when painting or staining a piece of flatwork. I can't remember what they're called and my Amazon searches brings up nothing. Somebody tell me what they're called!
Thanks!

Why not do what I do? Stack uneven pieces of scrap into a house of cards, to watch it collapse after the last coat and ruin your finish?

Rockler sells them and calls them "bench cookies" or "finishing cones"

I also do what JT did... took a bunch of little 1/4 inch pieces of wood cut into 3-4 inch squares, drew a circle about 2 1/2-3" diameter and put 4 sheet rock screws through them.... makes great painters points, stable, and with the circles I can also set my pepper mills on them when the PM drying rack is full. Cheap and convenient... also for my bowls.
