Thats looks good Michelle. Yes, definitely paint your tubes when doing acrylic blanks. Exoticblanks has a video or 2 on this subject. I use testors model paint to paint the tubes ( i put my tube on a mandrel then on the lathe on low speed ) most will paint the hole in the blank also, i use a q-tip for this task. Just my way of doing things.

That particular blank is my one of my favorites. I rarely paint the tubes anymore but always paint the inside of the blank. Try experimenting with different color paints like silver, white, green and even black and you'll notice a different outcome on the finished pen with each of those colors.
