I cut this blank out of a nice chunk that a neighbor gave me and wrapped it around a Copper Sedona. Finished with 8 coats of CA/BLO.

Hi Dick; No disrespect to your great looking pen.

Next time, no finish on the LV, buff the hell out of it, and the Carnuba wax it with the buffer. It holds onto it's nice warm wood feeling!

Nice work Dick i have a fair chunk of that from an old steamships bearings. Thanks for the tip Mack I had trouble getting a finish to gel on the last try
