I'm down on Islamorada in the Florida Keys with my Son for a scuba trip with his Boy Scout troop.

This tree and plaque caught my eye, so I thought I'd post it for you all.

Had to add in the sunset as well.

Thanks for sharing. Just an FYI, lignum vitae is actually "wood of life". Arbor vitae is "tree of life". Wish they would have checked their fact before they made a plaque [emoji851]

My father in law was a carpenters mate during WWII and has told me that the ship he was on (USS Crosley) made LV bearings. He also told me it's one of a very few wood species when put in water sinks. I've got a piece I'll have to try out.
