Tony

I use his lights.

The super nova is big, herky and the magnet is heavy. Lots of lumens. Some like to compare with the little Ikea lights. The scale is like comparing a Hummer to a vespa scooter.

I have one of the Aurora lights on the scroll saw. Good magnetic mount at the rear of the saw with a long arm that holds position well. Would be good on a mini lathe.

I got the super nova to provide light across the surface of turnings to better see flaws during the abrasives and finishing processes. Also good for final finishing cuts

Thanks for sharing your experience. Ken Rizza's a good guy and not far from me. I asked his permission to post his sale on the IAP.

You are welcome...that the beauty of this forum and fellowship: people helping each other. I have more lights that then the sun, but maybe I will get some more. Or open the boxes of the ones I still haven't installed LOL.

Well, I ordered the Aurora and wound-up with the Super Nova - not that the Aurora was not very good. I just thought the Super Nova was a better value . All are as KenV described them. I am only 20 miles from Ken Rizza the owner's place so I took a ride with a friend, and he bought the same. Great deal and some really great lights. Ken, the owner, is also a super guy. He doesn't sell or make any junk, that is for sure. I own his CBN wheels too.

That's a good deal on those lights. I have a mag base light and don't know how I went without all those years. I thought my lighting wasn't bad until I got the mag light with the flexible neck. Great for inside vessels, too.

Tony - Thanks again - Aurora/Galaxy two-fer arrived today - fine and fast service from Ken - put the Aurora to immediate use on the lathe, with Galaxy alternating between drill press and band saw - truly great lights - couldn't be happier.

Gratefully, Bob

These are great little lights, and just what I needed. They stay put and put out a lot of light for the small size. Thanks again for the tip!

Regards,
Michael
