lightining storm

I took this this morning while some good sized storms came through. I would like to say I got the picture with perfect timing and skill, but I can't. I set the camera on the tripod, and set it to movie then cut some images out.

That's pretty cool lightening pictures... my son has an attachment for his Nikon that will capture lightening... not sure how it works, but he does get some pretty good pictures when he can find a storm.

Cool. That is the one thing I still want to get a shot of. Had this nice camera for almost two years and ain't got one yet!

Thanks everybody. I found out that I could direct the lightning. All I had to do was turn my back and it would hit behind me everytime. I also found out that I'm wound way too tight to stand still too.
