This is a Liberty Bell pen in antique brass, from Woodcraft. I got it for $5 during the sale they had recently. I like the kit, but don't know that I would pay $20 for it. The wood is ipe, given to me by the son of one of the ladies at work. He works at a cabinet shop. I made this for my step-mother. Very happy with it overall.

I'm a little disappointed in the wood, it ended up rather unremarkable. It's my first ipe, and I had high hopes for it. The board I cut it from looked really nice, but I guess the bodies are too small.

Regardless of how the wood looks, the engraving makes it special.

Cool Pen. I really like your pictures of the process.
Have you been able to launch anything lately?
Dave
No, both clubs are shut down right now. I doubt if we'll launch this year, and next year is still in question. There are a couple of clubs in Nevada launching, but it's farther than I want to drive.
