Lever Action pen part

I had a lever action pen returned yesterday that I had made for a gift and it was not working. Upon investigating I found the problem was for lack of not knowing what the part is officially called but looks like it is a type of plastic extender was broken. Does anyone know where I might find this part. Thanks for any help which may be provided!

Can you take a picture of what it is? I have one that has cosmetic damage on the outside I'm not going to use anymore and would be happy to send it to you if it has the piece you need.

Lee, I looked through the parts for my bolt action pen and don't have any that look like that. Mine is from PSI.
