Howdy all. So, i ordered a bundle box of blanks. none of which are labeled. Now i do have a good idea what most are. But i am torn on this one. Maple Burl?

While the photo is a bit blurry, from what I can see it looks like Curly Maple to me.

Might be either maple burl or box elder burl.

I vote for maple, don't see any color normally in box elder.

I made a similar pen with maple burl and it looks the same...I'd say maple burl.

Could be Maple Burl or Curly Maple. I'd simply refer to it as highly figured Maple.

Well if you call it curly maple or maple burl nobody is likely to dispute it.
