I have ordered some poly resin blanks from PTownSubbie (cheap plug, do I get discount?) And my last order I just picked up was for 5 blanks. I had 2 different ones (2 of each) and 1 of a third. I had one blank blow up (thanks to my wife wanting to watch and leaned in and hit my arm), and this was a special order for specific colors. The single one has 2 people for it. At first this one person said they were going to think about it. Well someone else bought a different pen and said they had to go to ATM and get cash for it, wanted to know how long I work.

I have an order in for him and this woman requested green, purple, and silver together, and I thought they would be pretty bad together. But that is what she wants, if she pulls out from the special order, I will not make a special order for her again. I told her I didn't think they would look good together, but she thought I was crazy, and asked her if she was sure she wanted me to order the blank for her.

If we had half the money from the "Oh I will be right back to get his pen" we would all be rich. So for a repeat customer I will hold a pen for a little while, but for someone who has never bought one, not usually.

I guess there are several lessons learned.
The first is at a min order 2 of the same colors.
The second is keep your wife out of your shop.
The third is bring in new stock of pens either on pay day, or the next day!
