Thanks John will try again. I got 5 Grandkids here right now ages 14 12 Twins, 11, 5 All have projects in the shop 10X12 and then the dogs come in to see what is going on. But Monday Peace and Sanity return and I will miss them. Think tomorrow they will be making pens, they are almost done with whatever project they have going on.

Mine is 20x20 and crowded with just my husband and I....and two lathes...and a table saw...and a bandsaw....and a drill press...and a jointer...and a thickness planer...and a router table...and a BIG workbench...and a sharpening station...and a buffing station...and a sanding station..and a clamp rack....and a plywood cart...and a dust collector..and an 80 gallon air compressor...I don't know where I would put five kids, let alone the dogs!

It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't 20 boxes of wood in various states of preparation sitting around! Thank heaven for a dozen wall mounted cabinets or we wouldn't be able to get into it at all!

Don't have the grandkids and the dogs don't like the sound of my machines... wish I had as much room in my shop... mine is 12x24, has all the equipment you mentioned, except the dust collector is outside in a separate closet (looks like an outhouse attached to the shop) one end of the shop has 4 storage racks that are filled with bowl blanks, boxes of pen blanks (that I may never use), the planer sits on one shelf, two chainsaws on another, a spare 2 hp motor for the DC on a third and various and sundry other tools and such on a fourth... I also have wood stacked on the floor in front of the racks, several buckets of cut off's, the 16 gallon shop vac and a pedestal fan... around the walls near the roof line I have several crude homemade cabinets that holds my glass ware for my wood stemmed wine glasses, paints and finishes, glues, nuts and bolts and such. I have a 2 foot wide "work bench" across one end that wraps around under the window on one side... a 2 x 4 cabinet in front of that that has a 2 foot wide walk around so I can stand at the "work bench"... it's crowded with me in there... mostly have step outside to change my mind.

And this is twice the size of the shop I had in Houston, with a good number of the same tools in it.

Smitty really came through for me again. An IAP member sent the Center for the blind some beautiful blanks and pen kits. Among them were five Ligera kits, which are no longer sold. I couldn't find the turning instructions or the bushings for them, but Smitty came through with both. Thank you so much LeRoy! You saved the day. We are about to make our first fountain pen!

I am alive and well but I have not received any email recently or a PM from you in at least a month - I also checked my junk and spam folders and have nothing there. But with about 70 emails a day of which I usually don't find more than 5 that need reading I could have over looked one
