I have a friend who calls me "lemon head" due to my affinity for lemon meringue pie. I decided to make him a lemon head pen. The kit is a gold Executive, and the blank is called Yellow Jacket. I think it looks pretty "lemony".

Beautiful pen Jim.

I have made many key-lime and lemon-lime pies (very easy), so the nick-name is not wasted on me. $4.00 for an entire pie... or $5.00 per slice at a restaurant ($30.00 pie). Plus - I get whipping cream; that you can't find in South Dakota!

You and I would get along great. I love key lime pies, too!

That looks very appropriate as a gift to your friend . . I like the look of it ... you did a good job !!!

Did you paint inside the hole , the tube, or both ?

I reverse painted the blank, and colored the epoxy. I rarely paint the tubes.
