But I caught him! REALLY sharp pen, IMHO.

Thanks guys for the kind words. I really didn't try to sneak this one in. This is a birthday pen for my son and I wanted to put it in my photo album before I gave it to him.
Thanks again.

Uh oh...Sorry Ben! I saw it on the front page, and thought WOW, that looks great! I came into the Show off Your Pens section, but couldn't tell you how great it looked.

Sorry if I ruined any surprises!

Lovely pen. But my question is: How is BOW to work with?

It seems awfully expensive (understandably so); and as a newbie, I'm reluctant to invest so much for a blank that I might too easily blow up because of my infantile clumsiness! It looks fragile and/or difficult to work with, is it? Relatively speaking, that is! [;)] Anybody?

I don't think its overly difficult to work with. Like everything, you just have to take yout time, and be patient. Sharp tools make all the difference in any kind of wood turning. So keep 'em sharp, and you shouldn't have any problems.
