Haven't made or posted a pen in a while, but the new forum was calling me. At our last Richmond meeting, we made several varieties of leather pen blanks. This was one option, but done after the meeting. Next meeting will be using vegetable ivory to make centerbands, finials and nose cones nibs. I combined the concepts for this prototype. Aluminum tubes with a 7mm transmission. Enjoy!

This side of the pen is very nice indeed Bruce, not to mention the photo! But how is the other side, I mean where the leather is cut?

Bottom came out better than top. Leather feathered with a skiver prior to wrapping. Still need some practice.
