Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone out there has converted any of Smitty's Le Roi V2 pens into pencils using either the Schmidt DSM 2007 or 2006 mechanisms. If you have how did it turn out? Were any modifications required and how difficult were they?
I am looking for an inexpensive alternative to the Liberty pencils. Don't get me wrong I love the Liberty kits but @ $15 per pencil that is significantly more than the V2s. For about $18 I can make a pen/pencil set of V2s (including the Schmidt mechanism) that is only $3 more than just the Liberty pencil alone.
