Well I took some time this week to finish off my 10" x 38" Atlas built / Craftsman lathe today. Kinda sad as this lathe was picked up to save it and give her a new home after a nice refurb, but this one turned out to be quite the pretty lady when done.

If anyone is interested in buying this lathe, let me know. It's located in NE-Conn.

And after a little TLC:

How do you all like that tag? I was not able to save the original printing so I polished it and repainted it with red. I think it really sets the blue off.

Thanks Eric, I enjoy the refurb as much as using them to be honest. This one is a very nice lathe and would be very easy to have riser blocks made for it. This could be pushed to a 14" lathe very easily with blocks. I really thought about keeping it for myself, but I have the 11" Delta already.

WOW Lee, that is a Beaut!! You did a FINE job bringing her back to life. Now you've given me the push to go pick up an old Craftsman 6" jointer from a friend that needs TLC. I need a jointer and it needs a loving home (aka, my shop... [;)])

That was fast, finished on the 22nd, posted it for sale and the 23rd and sold, cash in hand on the 24th. Gotta love that! I am sure it could of brought over $150, but to be honest I bought it cheap, kept a MT2 Jacobs chuck and MT2 live center from it and still made a very good profit.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I think should go into OWWM restoration.... Hmmmm [:D]
