Hello all.
I usually drill my blanks with my lathe, but I find it cumbersome and slow. I may be doing something wrong, but also, there is a problem with my lathe. When I try to advance the drill using my tailstock wheel, I feel like I am wrestling it. It's so very hard to move. After it has moved about a couple of inches, it starts to loosen up, but then my chuck gets loose and start spinning. I have tried to clean up the inside tube in the tailstock but no results. I have the feeling is that part that's bad, but PSI, where I got my Turncrafter Commander 12 VS never has answered a single email to me.
TIA
