I have an extra variable speed lathe if someone is interested. I am the second owner. When I first got it the speed change mechanism worked occasionally. 2 months ago I purchased from Penn State industries, a new speed controller box over $50 and this fixed the issue.
This lathe works smoothly and I've sold over $1500 in turnings since January with this lathe. Lathe is clean and in great shape.
Similar lathe from PSI is on sale right now without the $50 extension for $350.
I'm not in a hurry to sell this but am willing to let it go for $350 with the extension. I can bring it to the meeting tomorrow if someone is interested in looking at it.
