These are two I made today. The blue one is from my very first blanks. Note the poor color combinations. If life was like photoshop I would use a paint bucket to turn all that blue black. The tan is one of my latest canes. I am so proud I made one for me to sell. These were turned using a gouge and only one has a CA finish. Yes the tan one is over turned in the center. I did not see it until it was off the lathe. Some sort of optical illusion I think, I thought it was perfect until removal.:befuddled:
