Just about any antler that is a fresh road kill or shed will have those pink colors throughout! After you turn it close to size, saturate it well with thin CA, and again after getting the dimensions to your preference, and that will help to maintain that color forever. It will darken to some extent, but not much and it will have more of the dried blood color tone to it. (not to sound morbid) If you are able to find a roadkill around shed time of the year, (with approval from the game warden so you dont get a huge fine) cut the antlers off just below the shed line and then turn it into a pen! The shed line will show up like a pinkish red line all the way around, its really neat, but hard to get! Just my .02 worth, thanks for reading.
