Good work. I like the color of the Ipe Tobaco. Where does it originate?

Looks like the Ipe "Tobaco" is a wood that goes well with a cigar pen.

Ipe comes from Brazil. Second in hardness and density only to Lignum Vitae. Ipe is available in US (for decking and flooring) but I am not sure about this color variety. My father in law sent it to me from Brasil. Oscar
